Would you accept the challenge of not buying any new clothes for a whole month? Read it here and get to know it.
Glastonbury have just started with the presentation of more than 100 artists in five days!Sheryl Crow, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Tom Odell, Bastille, Rosalía, Bjorn Again, The Killers, Hozier, The Chemical Brothers, The Cure… just to name a few of the Line-Up.
An exciting event that makes us go crazy in many things, but when it comes to choosing what to wear can be tricky as well. This 2019, Glastonbury is changing the game with its partner Oxfam and is promoting second-hand fashion as the new black.
As you choose Oxfam’s selected garments you are not only saving the planet from waste and more contamination, but you are also helping to improve the living conditions of thousands of communities around the world.
“Oxfam shops on the high street and online save around 47 million items of clothing from going to landfill every year. By buying second hand you can give clothes a second chance – increase their lifespan while protecting our planet.”, that’s how the festival promotes it.
So the challenge is about not buying any new clothes but rather go for second-hand clothes if you want to refresh your wardrobe. Nonetheless, I would extend this worthy cause for more than one month and not regarding only the Glastonbury Festival. Would you join me?
